Masking relaxation back in April was probably a mistake. We were still pretty low on vaccination rate. Variants perhaps a scapegoat for behavior.
- Symptomatic vaccinated people can spread SARS-COV2, especially if symptomatic.
- Further you get from your vaccination, the weaker your protection becomes. Still largely enough to keep severe illness at bay.
We need to be mindful of behavior.
